When you schedule an appointment to move your U-verse service to your new location, there are a few things you’ll need to do to get ready. First, you’ll receive an email confirming the services you’ve requested. Then be sure to click the welcome center link for tips on how to prepare for your move. When moving locally and keeping the same U-verse services, all you need to do is pack up your router, and DVR box, and take all of your recorded content with you. Or perhaps you’re moving further or changing your U-verse services. In these instances, you’ll return your leased equipment unpacked to the UPS store. Next, if a technician is installing your equipment at your new address, you’ll receive a scheduling email that confirms the installation date, and time. You can also check your order status on att.com/uverseorder. Finally, if you’re installing your own equipment at your new address, we’ll automatically activate your new service on the same day as your disconnection date. When you get to the new address, unpack, install the equipment, and enjoy your U-verse services.
